FOASP is a volunteer organization that works to promote the park's efforts to ensure safe and positive interactions between visitors and the island's wild horses and other wildlife. MARYLAND COASTAL BAYS PROGRAM
MCBP offers several different volunteer opportunities including stranded spawning horseshoe crab recovery, oyster gardening, nurdle patrol, adopt a beach/adopt a street clean up program, and helping at Bay Day in Ocean Pines.

ASSATEAGUE COASTAL TRUST
There are a number of ways to get involved with ACT. Volunteers can be involved in supporting staff, become a part of the Assateague Coastkeeper program, or volunteer to assist with the Coast Kids summer camp. You can learn more information by visiting their website and the link below.

SEAL STEWARD | NATIONAL AQUARIUM
The NATIONAL AQUARIUM in Baltimore offers an on-call Seal Steward volunteer position for Eastern Shore locals to support animal rescue efforts along the Atlantic Coast of Maryland. Responsibilities may include monitoring resting seals, ensuring safe distances for seals, educating the public, and outreach events.

SURFRIDER is a national organization that is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s ocean, waves and beaches, for all people, through a powerful activist network. The Ocean City Chapter is made up of beach-loving volunteers that ensure our ocean and beaches are clean and accessible for all.
